Sabeer Bhatia has shut down Arzoo for lack of revenue. It was indeed a great idea, which was probably ahead of it’s time.
I had used the site, and posted replies on to it. Never generated any money for me though. As it had no mechanism to track quote status as rejected or successful or to even found out if it has been read or not.
Access to the website was pretty slow, probably because of the bandwidth that we get in India, or because of the server being slow. I never suspected it to be slow because of many users, as there were never too many problems reported on site.
