Asha Hai Naa

Hi friends,

Asha Bhosale one of the legendry in the singing diaspora of Indian Music. In India, music is not limited to passion but, it is the religion. Music and Singing takes us way back to those days when the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharta. We can clearly observe that music was not played as a source of entertainment but as a mode of creating a lot of romance, hatered, agony, culture and humanity. Such are the huge parameters that Indian Music has reached.

Indian Music always has and will have a golden lineing as music is in the heart of every Indian. Indian Music got its first image and impression at bollywood when the legend Dadasaheb Phalke introduced flims in India. Right from the word go music has inspired the boxoffice.

This is the point of time which gave rise to great musicians and playback singers. Indian cinema witnessed golden era when the industry was gifted with great and memorable musicians and singers like S. D. Burman, O. P. Nayyar, etc and singers like the ’’nightangle of India’’ who also holds the world record for singing maximum number of songs in once entire career. Kishor Kumar cannot be forgotten in this context, the man who made India sing, dance, cry on his melodious vioce.

One of such singers in the golden era was Asha Bhosale. Her voice not only made her known among the Indian music but made evergreen singer of two centuries.

Asha got her music teachings from her father Dinanath Mangeshkar, Asha being one of the four siblings of Mangeshkar family shows that music is the only religion that is followed in their family. Every member of the family have made their mark in the music industry. Infact, India has produced one of the dynasties which didn’t follow any religion but the religion of ’’music’’.

Asha has to face very regerous time when she started her career this is mainly because her elder sister Latadidi had already made her remarkable name in the industry. Though Asha faced such mega competition stood among the other singers as one of the most versatile singers of Indian Cinema.

Asha not only sang for the movie but she actually sang for the heroine . This made her voice to emerge from her heart rather than from her throat. This can be easily proved as O. P. Nayyar had himself said that he felt that Asha had the exact voice which touched the heart and not any other organ of human body. Also when Ashatai sang songs for small children the voice matched so perfectly that those songs are liked even by the children of modern era. This quality of Asha had made her mark and one of the most favoured singers of all times. Asha had a lot of work and hardwork to do in order to not only make her mark as a singer from a legendry family but making a mark as Asha herself in minds of Indian audiences.

In modern days we can truely say that Asha is the voice of Kajol, Urmila and Karishma. It is amazing to note that shas a natural instinct of understanding the audience as per the era. That is why, even in the age of remixes Asha is the only off late singer to make her mark with her album ’’Rahul and I’’. As songs directly relates to emotions it is mandatory for every singer to enter the heart of the listner.

Under some circumstances if I am asked to answer the questions of Which song of Ashatai I like the most? It would be one of the most difficult questions I would have ever answered in my entire career.

Ashatai is such a great singer that under this days of various singers she is the one who will firmly hold the fort of legendary singers, that is the fundamental reason why I have mentioned my topic as ’’Asha Hai Naa’’.

Thank You.
