This is the most gripping ashes series I have ever seen live. it is always that aussies win the first 3 and give away the rest 2 to england to avoid humiliation. this time it was quite different. the english are holding the upper hand. it is usual that england always come close to victory and then let go it. it happened to them in 2 world cups and it happnd to them in 3rd test where they had the Aussie batsmen in their pockets(ponting an exceptional) and made the bowlers increase their batting average. the english may have to now work even more harder as the aussies have now started focussing on the reverse swing which was taken by surprise in the first 3 tests. their batsmen have a lot of skills but are lacking the experience to tackle crisis situation . this is what led to their first test defeat and ponting’s exp played a great role in the 3rd test. its every tens wish to see the english win the ashes live.
