I had posted about my experience of Gems bajaj in my previous review. today I’m going to write of another experience bout a bajaj authorized service center called Jai anand auto.
Its located in adarsh colony on market yard road. If any of you people are trusting your vehicles or two wheelers to this center.. Well.. Best of luck! At first I was pretty much happy with the center. The funny part is that jai anand auto was first a kinetic service center..
Then it became a hero honda authorized service center.. ad now its a bajaj authorized service center and a so called outlet of Ahwamegh auto. I’m saying so called because the service quality is no way near to the service rendered by Ashwamegh.
Let me tell you my experience. I wanted to sell my bike..a bajaj pulsar 5 year old and left the bike with the person in charge at jai anand auto. I had an offer of Rs 20000 and I expected to which he agreed Rs 22000 atleast. I had left the vehicle for one whole week with Jai anand auto.
Then after the person failed to fetch me the expected price I told him that I will take the bike and show it to some other person and if I dont get the expected price then i’ll come back to him and sell it for rs 20000 to his agent.. He said very readily "ok". (Beware the owner of the service center talks very sweet and seems very co operative... but remember he’s there to make money from each and everything related to ur bike ) Mean while during this time he had done some work on my bike without asking me to make the bike ready for his customers. and I saw that he had done some change in the bike .but not much..
As I already had serviced it just one day before from another bajaj service center. Now after a day I went there to get my bike.. and to my astonishment the person there was doing some fitting with the clutch wires. I said ok...then I saw that in 3 days he had consumed arnd 200 rs of petrol in my bike andhe without any hesitation took petrol out of the other bikes there for servicing and poured a liter of it in my bike!!
Then after he gave me the bike... another surprise... my battery which is just 11 months old (costing Rs 1600)and which was working perfectly just 2 days before wen I had checked my bike was totally discharged.. I brought this to the person’s notice.. and he asked me to leave the battery for charging there for a night... finally I got the battery charged the next evening and still the battery was not showing any sign of being charged..*I wondered if the battery was changed to make good the expenses he had
incurred after failing to sell my bike and make any money out of it. the horn did’nt even make a minute sound.. the green indicator for neutral on dahsboard was hardly alight.. and the indicators were not at all visible. I WAS SO ENRAGED...Also to my surprise my petrol indicator and my RPM meter had stopped working. which were alright before I gave my bike to him. Let me warn all.. The mechanics working at jai anand auto are totally weird.. they will most certainly screw up some of ur electrical fittings and will take some part out of ur vehicle and put it in another one just like that..
My word of ADVICE.. PLEASE BEFORE GIVING UR VEHICLE FOR SERVICING.. PLEASE NOTE DOWN THE SERIAL NO OF UR BATTeRY AND CHECK IT b4 and after u get ur vehicle from service stations. (or write ur name and no on the battery with a permamnent marker)These people will do anything to make money from our bikes and we have to be alert to stop such malpractices.*
