Let me be Honest. I deserve what I got!
Why? because I did not learn even after I had very bad experience with Asianet cable ppl. I took a cable connection for lump-sum for a year and the stupid STB did not even work for 2 weeks! And the crooks did not service me even after I called them.
But thats a different story all together.
Now its about Asianet broadband service.
I took a Rs 399 128 Kb/s unlimited connection from Asianet a week back and they installed the modem 4 days back. but it did not function. I raised a complaint and after a long 2 day wait and 3-4 calls later they established the connection. But when I tried using the net, I found that even my Gmail would not open and simple text sites would take upto 2 mins to come up.
I checked the speed and was shocked to find that the data transfer speed was an abysmal 6-7 kb/s. Thats worse than even dial up!!!!
I raised a further complaint and after another day I was informed quite blatantly that if I needed higher speeds, I needed to pay them more money and take a connection with higher speeds.
WTF!!! ????
This is the worst customer service there is on planet earth. Its the same with thier cable connection as well.
The only good thing is that I havnt paid them a single paisa till now and I dont intend to either!. but it is a very frustrating experience overall .
BTW, anyone knows Consumer Court details in tvm or kerala? I need to raise a complaint againt them for cheating consumers.
