Love this serial, simple story line, very well narrated! Kudos to the director!
Astitva is a real feel good serial, all the characters and their emotions are well balanced, even though it may seem like it is being dragged, the storyline is very well told.
I especially love the fact that Astitva addresses social issues well within the bounds of Indian culture, no vulgar clothing or extra makeup keeps this serial real..
The entire plot revolves around Dr.Simran whose Astitva is in question. Even though the title says Astitiva, ek prem kahani, the story itself goes way beyond the title touching up on the widow remarriage issue with Simran?s youngest sister, the extra-marital issue with Simran?s husband, , the depression issue when Dr.Simran goes through her divorce and these are plots that can easily go haywire if they landed up in the wrong directorial hands. But all of these situations are maturely handled.
