’’Love is blind. It knows no boundaries. And of course not that of age’’- This must have definitely driven Simran( niki Aneja), a famous gynaecologist to fall for and get married to Abhimanyu( Varun Badola). Despite an age gap of 10 years( or should it be generation gap) between elder Ms. Simran and the younger Mr.Abhimanyu, the couple get married against everyone’s wishes.
Well, as love would have it, callow Mr. Abhimanyu, a photographer by profession, finds their relation an epitome of love. Though parents and relatives sever relations with simran, she finds solace in the arms of abhi. but life does not go this way for long. Ms.kiran arrives as an unemployed young girl to get infatuated with abhi. She soon starts managing abhi’s work smartly. The denouement is simple. abhi prospers and starts crediting kiran for all his success. unmindful of all this, simran continues her unabased love for abhi.very soon the two become one and simran gets on the family way.
needing to work for hours together and probably into nights, the inevitable chemistry between kiran and abhi begins. the uncontrollable feelings towards each other tantamount to red hot passion and they end up in bed. Kiran ends up pregnant.
As the plot goes on and as fate would have it, simran must discover during her final days of pregnancy about the affair between abhi and the dame. wild and red, she asks abhi to leave home.
simran delivers a baby soon but still is in her stupor . she cannot oversome her grief, for she has loved abhi more than herself. But she refuses to reconcile.
And then the story has been going on and on and on.... with unnumerable attempts of reconciliation and a number of rounds of crying. The sotry so far is that abhi wants to file a divorce case but is not ready to register any defamatory remarks against simran, for he knows she is innocent.
Simran, callous and strong now, wants a divorce too as she too wants to live an independent life...
lets hope they come to some consensus and end the serial pretty soon as there is nothing much left to come...
