Astrology is a set of mathematical calculations.
If certain individuals interpret the data incorrectly – Astrology as a science cannot be blamed for that. Let me explain from a layman perspective.

If your birth time were to read as 23hrs 56mins 59.09 seconds and some nano seconds exactly, the common problem with the majority of astrologers are , they make an error of addition. Something as mundane as that. But in astrology that leads to big miscalculations. A very simple reason being that it is an extremely tedious process to calculate birth chart details to the T.
What these soothsayers land up doing is take a round value of all the fractions e.g. 4.09seconds & .025nano-seconds is taken as a round figure to 5 seconds, or worse still completely removed from the equation .What this practice does is – certainly eases up the calculations for the astrologer, it speeds up the entire process, [he can take in more clients].However if you observe minutely , by way of carry forwards, the numbers actually add up and subsequently in the equation, the minor increase in the initial calculation,
results, in a major increase in the final out come. Hence by the end of all calculations you actually end up getting a prediction corresponding to 23.57mins. as against the original and actual time.!
This is where most predictions go wrong.
Astrology is a fine tuned science, it is precision oriented. One has to be zeroing in on the exact and actual details. Otherwise everything is futile.
Now look at Astrology as an Art.
It is the artistry of the astrologer to co-relate ancient data with present day situations and circumstances. Sadly, of the 500 odd astrologers I have been to, over the years, 498 of them are mumbo-jumbo. Only two of them are genuine. Here are a few pointers.
Genuine astrologers, generally don’t do too much “planet talk” – they plain talk !
Just like we document in bullets. Take it or leave it –precise to the T. It’s actually scary stuff. So you have to be mentally prepared to take the good with the bad. There are no “solutions” or “remedies” they suggest. Their job is to predict what lies ahead –period.
No stones, no “tantra mantra”, just plain vanilla.
There is no element of doubt that remains in your mind. So the next time you go to an astrologer – scream “show me the money” !
