The laptop is well built but it would have been better if asus had stick to its iconic concentric circle finish at the back instead of giving a glossy finish which is a great fingerprint magnet.
I really like the single hinge design that asus puts in its every laptop which gives great stability to the display.
The charger brick is pretty is slick.
Pros:
1) FHD display
2) DDR4 RAM
3) Overall weight distribution makes this laptop seem lightweight
4) Speaker and audio output due to Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
5) Default 2yrs warranty and as per the ongoing student offer ( valid upto 15 July) by paying INR599 more it can be coupled with additional Accidental Damage Protection.
Cons:
1) As per the description its RAM is only expandable upto 8GB.
2) Non Removable Battery
3) Only comes in FreeDOS
4) Its a shame that it has USB 3.1 and does not support dual band wifi.
This laptop is ideal for a student as it can provide muscle to run any software.
also pretty good for gaming due to NVIDIA GEFORCE 930MX coupled with intel core i5 6200U
The package comes with a CD with all Drivers required for Windows 10.
In a nutshell this laptop is a steal for its price as other laptops offering such features cost 4 to 5k more than this.
The only laptop with similar features excluding USB type C is HP Pavilion 15 ac179TX
