I’m using this laptop for about 6 months now and I can surely say that it’s a beast. The model I use comes with i7 processor, 8 gigs of DDR4 RAM and 4 gigs of GTX 950 graphics card. It handles almost all the tasks I give it like a breeze. And for the price it’s a steal.
I play a lot of games such as Gta 5, Witcher 3, Far Cry Primal etc. All of them works without any sort of lag. Also I use processor intensive works like video editing and use softwares like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a lot. And I have to say, there is no such thing as delay. The RAM is also upgradable upto 16 gigs, so that if you’re doing more ram intensive work you don’t have to worry.
I agree that there are a lot of much better gaming laptops out there with much better specifications, but all of them comes at a price. Most of the good gaming laptops cost more than 100k. Compared to them this Asus Rog provides solid performance in an affordable price range.
The only drawback is the battery standby. It will stay for nearly 4 hours on normal usage lile web browsing and watching videos. But you should be plugged in when gaming tonget the maximum potential out of it.
If you are looking for a budget gaming laptop, I can surely recommend this laptop. It’s worth the price!
