Just an average phone.

I have been using this phone for nearly 2 years. I got this for 9999 INR and initially, it worked fine.

After a couple of months, it started lagging due to the heavy skin Zen UI over the stock android. The phone is full of bloatwares(Apps by Asus) and most of them cannot be removed to free up some space. As the phone’s internal storage is only 8GB, after installing all the needed apps, there won’t be enough space left for rest of the stuff such as music and videos and you have to put in an SD card.

The phone is easy to hold and the build quality is nice. The curved structure makes it easy to hold and the rubber feel on the back cover gives enough grip for holding. The front of the phone is not up to the mark due to the huge chins. With a full charge, it’s enough for a day. If you are a heavy user it won’t last a day for sure.

I am a fan of stock android, hence I hate the custom UI by Asus. The sound reception is good but not great. The camera is the only feature which I like. The pixel master camera gives nice results if there is enough light available. During low light conditions, the photos taken would be having lots of grains. The laser given for focusing purpose makes the camera capable of picking up the focus in a jiffy. It’s very useful while taking videos.

During calls, the phone started heating up after a few months and also the 4G network reception power also got reduced. At present getting this phone is not a wise choice. You could buy some feature-rich phones with updated software for a much lower price.
