In order to purchase a new smartphone I did a lot of market research and compared a lot of different products of similar specs and after literally studying the entire smartphone market I concluded that ASUS ZENFONE MAX was perhaps the best phone to fulfill my needs based on the money I had in my pocket.
This phone comes with a 5000 mah battery which is way more than an average user needs. After complete charging the phone last for a 2-3 days under normal use and the backup duration decreases a little when the usage becomes a little rigorous. But in the past couple of months for me the least backup time I recorded was 28 hours and that too happened because of the fact that I was sharing my data with 1 other person via hotspot. Though the phone offers a lot of features but the battery backup is the most prominent aspect of this smartphone.
It looks good and stylish comes with a leather like back panel which looks quiet classy and expensive, the edges are round and covered with matte chrome finish which make the phone attractive. The phone gives a 5"5 inch display which makes it a little larger but after a couple of weeks you will easily get used to it. The fact that it has a 5000mah battery inbuilt in the device it makes the phone a little bulky but yet again you wont feel it much after getting used to it. For now it will be good to say that i’m happy and satisfied with the looks of this phone.
Now lets look at the technical features of the phone.
RAM- it comes with a 2gb RAM which is the max you could get under the price ranged, besides 2 gb RAM is more than enough for an average user. But even if you are a gamer and likes to multitask after this 2gb RAM wont disappoint you. I’ve been using this product since 3 months now and never have I ever encountered an event of hanging or lagging. So its safe to say that this 2gb RAM is good to go.
It gives a 1.5 GHZ octa core qualcomm snapdragon processor which is quiet old but still works good and yet again based on the price of the product it is quit good. The net speed and processing speed are too good because of this processor and it runs pretty smooth.
Apart from all the above mentioned points, id like to add that the Asus ZENUI is somewhat similar to Samsungs UI but yet its way better, and very easy to use. The phone provides a 13 megapixel Primary and 5 Megapixel secondary camera. The camera quality of this phone lacks a little bit of edge when operated under low light but this flaw isnt big enough to reject the phone even for camera savvy photographers who want to try a new phone under 10k this is a must buy.
Overall it is pretty fantastic product under 10k and really doesnt offer any flaw. For me its a must buy for budget friendly smartphone users
