First of all about the specs of the phone,
It comes with snapdragon 636 Octa core processor with base variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and upper variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and also a 6GB RAM variant. It also comes with 5.99 IPS LCD full HD display with 18: 9 aspect ratio it has a hybrid sim slot with dual nano sim and a dedicated micro SD card. It has rear dual camera 16MP+ 5MP, front camera 16MP. 5000 mAh battery with Bluetooth 5.0, and fingerprint sensor and with Android 8.0.
One thing about this phone that I liked the battery that is 5000 mAh with combination of snapdragon 636 means you will get a great battery life of 1 and a half day. But you will think that with 5000 mAh battery the phone must be heavy but I will give full marks to Asus for the weight distribution it weighs 180 gms which is similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Moving on to the screen it has a 5.99 full HD screen with 18: 9 aspect ratio which is a very good quality screen . In terms of contrast level it has contrast ratio of 1: 1500 which is actually pretty good and that actually shows in the phone when you watch videos, pictures , etc., look very good. So in terms of screen they have done a good job and the screen is actually clearly visible in outdoor sunlight so you don’t have to worry too much about the screen.
Now in cellular call quality the cellular receptions in this phone is excellent because the back is metallic but the top and the bottom has a dual antenna which makes is cellular reception excellent even in weak areas. The earpiece is loud and clear so you don’t have to worry about that. Now moving on to the speaker it’s a mono speaker but it’s good enough and it’s louder than most other Android phones and in additional you get a sound amplifier inside the box. The sound output from the headphone jack is also very good it has a bit depth in the sound so I enjoyed listening music in it.
It also has a multicolor LED notification light. It has ZEN UI which is very close to stock Android so you feel like using stock Android in this phone. You also get latest Android 8.1 in it and asus had promised that they will give updates of next two versions of Android. Now the RAM management on this is very good after the OTA updates. It’s gaming performance is also very good even with heavy games on high graphics. It doesn’t also overheat but while playing games the back gets slightly warm but no issues with overheating.
The best thing in it that you get a dual voLTE. But you don’t get a fast charger in this it take little more time for the phone to charge.
The camera is also improved and the pictures in it are awesome but you don’t get an amoled display but it doesn’t matters a lot.
On an average it’s a very good phone with fast processor, better camera, powerful battery, and with all the sensors, and infinite screen.
