The Audi A4 has a lot to live up to as the range is widely considered a leading light in the second tier of performance cars, only second to BMW and Mercedes. I found the drive nice and firm the engine powerful combined with responsive steering.
The seats are comfortable but not exceptional, the downside is the cockpit it is let down by a cheap looking instrument panel and ill fitting parts. In general terms the A4 is a bit of a let down, something we don’t often see with German made automobiles. This model seems to have everything expected, apart from attention to the smaller detail. I found this very disappointing, hence the overall poor review.
