Audiogalaxy was already around during the last few days that Napster breathed its last. Hence it has built up quite a big (and loyal) user-base by now. This greatly increases your chance of finding a song compared to other utilities.
It uses a browser to search for the files and leaves the rest to the satellite to manage. The satellite is a small program that runs in your tray and doesnt require much CPU-utilisation. I sometimes find it annoying to search for the file on a separate browser window. I personally would have liked it to be incorporated in the Satellite. It also supports only mp3 sharing and no other file types.
To sum it up, use it only if you dont find a particular song on MORPHEUS.
TIP: If youve noticed that you cant download more than 1 song at a time and want to enable multiple file transfers then you have to have more than 25 song files in your shared folder. This is something not everybody knows !
