Are you being shagged? - Austin is..

Oh be-have..The sequel to Austin Powers was given massive hype, which it lived up to. However, it seemed like they were out to make lots of money. They got a 12 rating, meaning the gags seemed to have less of an edge when compared with the original. Which is why I think this is not quite as good. However the jokes are now funny in a different way. The plot is a bit weak and maybe even predictable but Myers takes your mind away from such things, like when Austin is about to travel back in time, he goes cross-eyed when he thinks about how it is not actually possible.

Heather Graham plays Felicity Shagwell, and is a better improvement on Vanessa (Liz Hurley), she dies in the first scene, as she is a Femmebot. A bomb made by Dr Evil. I didn’t think Fat Bastard was too great, but Mini Me and Dr Evil combine brilliantly and provide most of the funny scenes, like when Dr Evil is talking to the President of the U.S. back in the 60’s and asks for $100, 000, 000 which wasn’t even realistic then. Also he uses 90’s phrases and songs “talk to the hand cos the hand don’t wanna know” and taking credit for “Just the two of us” and “If God was one of us”. Which he performs with Mini Me.

Another very funny gag is when Austin and Felicity are in a tent, some soldiers of Dr Evil are outside and can see only shadows. Felicity is pulling stuff out of a bag but it looks like it is coming out of his ass. I laughed till my face fell off. This film should be seen.

Totally Shagadellic!
