Hi Varunsaboo.
You sound desperate.Well, dont be. Aussies great. I went in May-June last year. It was winter there.
I went from Kolkata to bangkok, and then to Perth. Perth is a pretty city, and it wasnt too cold. Its a great foodie joint. Theres a main street in downtown Perth which has so many restaurants that almost every door is a different restaurant.
From perth I went to Sydney. What a place! It was a bit colder than Perth. Perth is on the Indian Ocean--well just off it-- the port is Fremantle-- and Sydney is on the Pacific. Sydney has evrything. You must visit the Opera House and go to Bondi Beach. if you can, go into the countryside towards Canberra. Its beautiful.
If you dont like the cold, head up North into Queensland. Cairns and Port Douglas are warm, and you cannot miss the Great barrier Reef. The tropical rain forest tour in queensland is also great. The Gold Coast is fun, but too much of a holiday spot.
The greta thing is, if you have time, drive around. since they speak English, and they drive on the same side as us, you cannot get lost. Everything is well marked, and most Aussies are greta fun people and very nice.
One advise. the further south you go, the colder it gets. Melbourne can get brrrr....., but its an intersteing area.
GO. And have fun. You can get all kinds of holiday spots in one country. thats why I call it everyland.
