Lady Ashley is an example of a backbone woman in a family. This movie features the tremendous acting power of Nicole Kidman. The story starts like a documentary movie of the world war. Then it takes from the County of England to the poor aborigines to the wilderness, poverty and mythological belief. Most of all, everything goes hand in hand.
The character of Ashley is powerful and devoted. Her conventional motherhood for the aborigine little boy is commendable. Every single cast has a role to play in the movie. The last part of the movie was very fast. From the destruction of the mission camp the movie just quickly. There needed to be a little story or a twist.
The cinematography is very strong in the movie. The huge herds of animals racing across uncontrolled wilderness have expensive memories to capture. A must watch movie, I have put in my favourite list !!
