Cheran has as usual came with a good movie but this time you can see a more than what you expected from Cheran. You can see his hardwork in each and every frame of the movie. Cheran has brilliantly scripted every ones teenage life. If u sees this movie, your thought will move back to your teenage.....
The story starts with Senthil (CHERAN) is moving to invite his ex-lovers and friends for his marriage and ends up with his marriage to a new girl. On the way, he thinks of the love affairs with each girl in each stage of his past life and takes the audience along with him right from a small village in Madurai to beautiful locations of Allepey, Kerala..
While doing his 10th standard studies, he fells in love with Kamala (MALLIKA). And the sequence of love in this stage is really superb. Everyone has come with this kind of love in this stage. Waiting for a girl while on the way to school, relating a male teacher with a girl, signing his fathers sign in the progress report. These are the sequences everyone has did in this age. And Mallika is really done a decent and wonderful acting. Cheran has extracted a well performed acting from Mallika. She beautifully fits her body language into 16 years school going girl as well as mother of 3 children.
In the college life of Senthil, he fells in love with beautiful Lathika (GOPIKA) in Kerala!!!!. The love sequence in kerala backdrop is really outstanding. Gopika’s acting and dubbing is really good. Her voice is so sweat and she beautifully dubbed when senthil listens her words in walkman after she got married to a third man. She really boost her character in this sequece. An example of Cherans hardwork is Adam-Eval sequence.
Senthil gets disheartened after failed in Lathika’s love. Sneha came into Senthil’s life at this time(HERE I’M NOT ABLE TO INSERT SNEHA’S CHARACTER NAME BCOS THIS SITE IS NOT ALLOWING TO INSERT HER NAME). Senthil’s life totally changes after he meets Sneha who teaches him the value of friendship and to let go of his past and get on with his life. Sneha’s acting is entirely different in this film. You can see a different Sneha in this film. Cheran has marvelously depicted Senthil’s approch with Sneha as a friend. When Senthil was in his teenage, he looked the girls for love. But when he full-blown, he feels friendship with Sneha. Sneha got a job for senthil as an advertising Manager in Chennai. Sneha is very very helpful for Senthil’s success in his life. Sneha hides her mothers death from Senthil during his first advertising project and help him to succeed in that project. Snehya’s acting is really superb in this sequence.
And finally Senthil, in front of his ex-lovers family, married to Thenmozhi (KANIKA). Kanika is only appearing in few frames and she is so cute. The sequence of Senthil’s marriage is fabulous.
Art is by G.K. Music by Bharadwaj. He came up with good numbers after GEMINI but this time all are melody based. A Malayalam based song is superb. Cherans concept in this song is really good. All the four cinematographers are really done a great job for Cheran’s script.
Please don’t see this movie in CDs. You must watch it in a theatre. If you don’t, you can’t expect this type of good moive in the future. And it’s the best way to appreciate Cheran’s hardwork. Cheran has inserted his name in this tamil film world as a best best director. In the love based hit list, you can insert this after Kadalukku Marathi.
