I joined Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Nashik Plant in the service department with the hopes of learning a lot of things after leaving a two wheeler manufacturer. But all those hopes and ambitions went into drain when I came to know about the real working culture there.
I would simply say to all the aspirants that if you want to lead in the career then become a part of the leaders and not the followers.
I did the same mistake of joining Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in their personal car section. Initially I thought that this new venture will open an opportunity for me to learn more and more about the Four wheeler technology but later I came to know that they them self are copy cats and they copy the market leaders like Toyota, GM and Ford for system and technique.
Worst part came into light when I struggled to learn any thing new even after one year of induction. They simply copy and try to proceed while no value addition is done at the end.
My job was also to copy the service manuals from Pajero, GM and Toyota and to modify them for the Scorpio and Xylo brands. This all continued for two long years with nothing in hand. I fell into depression and felt frustrated. Then only I decided to quit this hell and join some other company.
This company also cheats by appointing people as AM. But actually they don’t have any hierarchy below this level except a supervisor job. GETs are appointed as AM and hence new joinees are ditched by this Post.
Even medical and travel claims are not reimbursed upon the bills. They conduct an enquiry to check whether you were actual patient or not. Profession ethics is an unheard word here and the company who has purchased Satyam is definitely a good example of a fraudulent company.
In all the pay package shown is not the actual one and one should be ready to get less. Second thing is that in case if one has to live a life king size with nothing to do and to stay off the work load and creativity then this is the ultimate heavens.
Those seeking growth and learning should never get into the marshy ground of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
