I booked my auto from Hadapsar to Pune station for 15th Jan 4:30 PM. They had sent me booking SMS. Having booked previously & auto did show up on time, I thought I can rely this time also.
I had my 6 month old daughter with me & 2 bags of luggage. My train was schedule to depart on 5:30 PM. It takes 20-25 minute minimum to reach station.
On 15th Jan, I did not get any message till 3:30 PM. I started getting worried. By 4:15 PM I was sure that Autowale has ditched me & won’t send auto.
Finally on 4:25 PM, I got apology SMS saying auto won’t show up, please make alternative arrangement.
This was extremely unprofessional from Autowale. I have no problem at all with cancellation. My problem is they should inform at least 1 hour earlier. How can they inform just 5 minute before & ask me to make alternate arrangement?
Thanks to other cab services, they provided me cab in 10 minutes. Otherwise Autowale had almost forced me to take my 6 month old with all luggage & hunt for transportation on road. Moreover, Autowale charges Rs 50 if customer cancels auto in last 1 hour. Shouldn’t this also apply to them, if they cancel & that too in last 5 minute?
If in future I want an absolute reliable transportation, then surely Autowale will never be an option.
