One may hear all about this when hearing about the new movie AVATAR, James Cameroon. Taking you through the movie by pin-pointing some scenes or sequences is not the ideal way of expressing my self.
What I Did not Like: The story is a total blunder, bland, in itself. Too Dramatic. The movie goes irritably slow at a point and you feel, its just a Drag. And then the pace the movie adopts in the climax, takes the viewer on an uncomfortable shift from easy love story to an action-packed climax. Climax too . is not well fabricated.
Points that could have made the story a Phenom: The amalgamaiton of the Na’vi’s through out the planet, formation of defense system against the Machines, strategy, shift in strategy from Defencive - to - Offensive, Overcoming the Humans. These plots of the movie have been showcased in snapshots within fraction of seconds. An ellaboration on these could have created wonders.(Like it did for the movies Troy, Gladiator, 300, Star Wars, ranging this formula to movies such as Toy Story, Home Alone etc). The end was "Given too much in less time and too inadequate".
What I liked: I like the ingenous way of showing the viewer how one can be introduced to a new civilisation. The little little things, such as - the common animals species found out there, you may relate all of them to what we see on earth with it has been shown with some tinge.(like Horse without hair), flies flying by the concept of a helicopter! Flowers glowing in darkness, Water . is crystal clear; revealing the minerals underneath. The emotional connect being experienced on earth, is been substituted with the Physical connection on Pandora(The Planet). Technological advancements of that Planet are: The Memories and Teachings and preechings of ancestors of Na’vi’s are stored very securedly within the flora of the planet. Can be contacted whenever a Na’vi requires to(Sort of a Prayer. but very much physical in presence and calculable scientifically). The Language advancement: the slanges of the Na’vi, lectures, songs. The humans technology, the gigantism of the weaponries. The computers being used, the laptops, the holographic presentations to explore the planet for the mineral / rock for commercial purpose.And last but the most important -’3D’. Exploration of a beautiful scenic planet in 3D - Makes you think: Its a total Paisa-Vasool(Its Worth Spending and its worth waiting soo long for such a movie).
Finally - I do recommend you to watch this movie. But if you watch the movie like I do - DO NOT THINK! DO NOT JUDGE! DO NOT EVALUATE THE MOVIE! While watching the Movie. Enjoy 3D! Its the best till now. Enjoy watching something’Discovery Channel’ or’National Geographic Channel’ or any other wild life show did not show you yet!
