Got iLife policy in one week & at reduced premium

Both me and my husband were looking for reasonably priced Pure-Term plans.


Since we had to travel overseas at short notice, we were also looking for provider who will not delay the issue of policy.


Aviva did not disappoint in that front.


We had plenty of questions that were answered promptly by mail and over phone by customer service. Though initially there was some discrepency over the question of’Who will pay for medical tests in case we plan not to go ahead with the policy during freelook period’, but later that was sorted out(Policy Holder is supposed to pay for it.)


The medicals were scheduled the very next day after registration and premium payment.They also accepted the scanned copies of the documents and that made the things fast and less troublesome(*Though the concerned deptt did not get it redirected from customer care so had to send the docs twice *).


Top it all, the premium that my husband was quoted at the website got reduced by~ Rs 1000 after his medical.Mine remained the same though.


We got the policy in hand within a week after that.


I am hoping, that in case of unfortunate event of our nominees claiming the policy, Aviva will be as effitient as it had been in the issuance of the same.
