I have applied for a home loan with AXIS Bank , Aditya Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad branch and I did the worst mistake of my life.
My Loan documentation process started in Aug’12 and I submitted all the documents with all confirmations, but their stupid executive used to to come every 15-20 days or one month that this one more document is required and all that stuff. This went on for almost 4-5 Months.
Then, as my property is an outstation one, branch in Ghaziabad has to contact the respective branch, for which for 2 months they said they are unable to contact. SO till now, 6-7 months.
After this getting utterly frustrated I complained in their central branch in Mumbai and this particular issue they were able to solve within a day as they got whip on their back.
Now they were able to tell the next steps (so basically process didnt end here!!) and asked me for some more money ( a particular fee which is everywhere required).
After that again they were not able to reply for one month, saying we have not received any response from the outstation branch and they cant do anything if outstation branch people do not reply.
In the meantime , their highly responsible side informed me that because loan has already passed 6 months approval period, so I have to pay Processing fee again, and shrugged off from their responsibility and never accepted plainly their inefficiencies.
I complained several times in their central office now but they always talked internally with branch manager, devised some replies to save the face of branch manager and gave me written replies without even asking the complete issue from me.
I had to call them now and explain everything, but again, a central office trying to save face of local branch never responded responsibly.
Now after my exasperation passed all levels, I told them to cancel my loan and return my processing fee and other fee which I have paid. For this they agreed and said will give within 7-10 days. Its been one month now and I have not received any reply from them, leave about money.
So my all money stuck with them, with no loan disbursed and builder applying interest charges on account of no payment.
SUGGESTION: IF YOU WANT TO GET WORK DONE, AVOID AXIS BANK AT ANY COST!
