As I am having three saving accounts in ICICI, HDFC and PNB; recently I applied to open one more account in AXIS bank. I shifted to Bangalore thats why I wanted to have one local account also. Because all other accounts are out station account and ICICI & HDFC accounts are my one type of salary accounts and I am getting some benefits. Now I can say AXIS bank’s service is one of the worst banking services.
I applied on 14th of Mar, 2013 in Marathahalli, Bangalore branch. They told me it will take 3 days to open your account and other 4/5 days to deliver your welcome kit along with debit card. But till 18th I didn’t get any confirmation. Then I called their customer care on 18th and logged one complaint and after some time on same day I received SMS with my new account no. On 22nd I called them again regarding my welcome kit. They told this has been dispatched on 19th and will be reached at you ASAP within 5 days from the dispatch date. On 23rd I called again, they told this will be delivered by EOD today if not then they will take my complaint. On 25th I called them and logged complaint and requested them to update me the exact issue, why didn’t this deliver till date?
Till today (26th Mar) there is no response from their end. Today morning I called their customer care and asked the courier details so that I can inquiry about this delay. They told, they don’t have any courier tracking no. Now guys, my concern is: how it is possible that they don’t have any details of courier. They only sent that, so they must have all the details. Finally they told me, this will be re-dispatched again today and will take other 2/3 days to reach you which mean they have not sent my welcome kit till today. Otherwise how can they send me again without knowing the previous one?
Now I am sure their service is terrible and decided to close this account ASAP. Guys think twice before going to AXIS bank.
