Been a Citibank customer for 11 years and my first day experience after migrated from Citi to Axis is already a disaster.
You wont be able to find out your Customer ID unless you sign up for Mobile Banking. Even the SMS short code option to get your customer ID isnt working.
Customer care number is a joke. You have to pay to call them, and even if you choose a different language on the IVR, youll still end up listening to the wrong language.
The call transfer process is again a joke. I waited on hold for over 10 minutes and no one even picked up! What a waste of time.
The customer service representatives appear to have insufficient knowledge and are unable to effectively address my inquiries.
In Citi, I was able to do every operation seamlessly but things are exact opposite in Axis.
My issue : My office address, which was also my communication address, didnt get migrated properly during the whole thing and I dont see my Office Address on my profile.
Right now, the Communication is set to an incorrect address thats not even in use. And guess what? I cant change it to my office address because it doesnt exist as an option.
It is as simple as that to understand this issue. But I already spoke to 3 customer care executives and still the issue is not resolved.
I received a direct message on Facebook stating that someone would contact me to resolve this issue. I am still waiting for that individual to reach out.
Only solution is I am planning to open a separate bank account for my salary and close this one in the near future.
