Negligence of customer service

This is my first review..........

Till few days back I was having a very good relationship with the bank and the recent behaviour of the bank with me has not been fruitful with me, the people in the customer service seems to have no concern about my problem and are ignoring at each stage of my approach.

As far as the ATM Service, Internet banking the service is excellent., and also the phone banking service do touch satisfactory level.

But when it comes to the customer service the bank seems to have a negative approach towards the customers and each of customer service in the bank react differently.

Let me go ahead and share and one of the recent experience I had with the bank.......................

Couple of days back I had been to Jayanagar ATM, and in hurry I forgot to take up my card back, due to which my card remained into the machine, nice that I got my card back after few days but by this time my real frustration with the bank starts and is continuing still.

When I got my card back I was informed by the customer service that I can use the debit card on the next day as it was temproarily blocked. Well I did the same way and used the card on the next day but again due to the negligence of the customer service the card was still blocked due to which my card went back into the machine giving the error message as Invalid card.

When enquired about the same in the bank again they came up of giving the clarification that they have activated the card and blamed the Card department in mumbai for the problem, where the actual fact was that the card was not activated and this shows the co-ordination level of the bank with their departments and their customers. But why the bank cant understand that this is not only causing inconvinience to me but also disturbing my mind as of whom to contact to solve this problem.

The story continues I did called agaiin to the branch to tell my problem and this time the customer service in the bank blamed me as of why I am leaving my cards in the ATM frequently, again like any Inncocent customer I told alll the ramayana to the person and then the person in the customer service told me to come again to the branch to take my card.

I went to the branch from my residence which is almost 20 kms took my card and this time I wanted to make sure with the customer service that I want a correct conformation that when my card is going to get unblocked, and this time too the same answer that I can use the debit card on the next day. But I didnt take a risk this time, I gave my mobile No. amd told to call me once the card is unblocked, and the frustration continues and I didnt got any call on that day and just like a fool I was waiting fot the call.

I called again the bank and this time another problem with the customer service oh my god all of them have a readymade answers, everytime I call them they transfer the call getting escaped out of it and keeping me on hold and for each person I have to repeat the ramayana and I get all the response as the card department in mumbai has not activated the card and I do not really understand why these people not wish to unblock my card when I have got the card.

This time I again went to the branch to enquire and about the same and this time the customer service seems to be ready with this answer and I really cant understand why these people wont understand the value of time and timely informing about the status of my problem.

They again try to convince me by saying that my problem would be rectified at the end of the day and again this time as my guessing went I did not get a call so I called again to the bank but the same answer that the status is still blocked.

Now all I have to do is again I need to call the bank again or go to the bank to listen to their clarification which dosent fill my stomach. I did the same thing and this also does not served for the purpose, even after sevral visits my problem is not solved.

My experience is truely a kind of lesson in my life and which will never create a good opinion in me towards the bank with similar service.
