I would like to share my experience using AXIS BANK CC. I have been using this CC for 2 years now the service is bad compared to other banks. I had not applied for the card; I have a car loan with them so they called me and offered me a CC. This was a gold card. When they gave me the card they said that there will be no fuel surcharge on this card. I started using this card for filling petrol and noticed that they chare the surcharge. I have called the bank so many times and they said they will reverse it which has never happened.
Also whenever I use this card in a restaurant and for other shopping the amount reflecting on the charge slip and Monthly statement is very different. The amount reflected in the statement is usually 2.5% more than the original transaction amount.
For egg. If I have swiped the card for 1000/- in a merchant outlet the amount reflecting on the statement is 1025. I noticed this recently and I have complained to the customer care had they do not bother is correct this. Finally I decided to pay off all the dues and close this card.
My sincere advice to everyone is don’t take the Axis bank CC. And if you alredy have one please preserve all the transaction slips and compare it with the monthly statement.
