Ayesha Takia, a cute & sexy 19 year old is striving to create her own identity in this industry. She has come into this industry like the breeze of fresh air. Natural, bubbly & beautiful, she is trying to carve a niche for herself. There have been lot of new comers recently but Ayesha stands out distinctly for two reasons;
1. Mostly All newcomers in this Industry are somebody?s relative or come by someone?s recommendation. But Ayesha has taken no such favors from anybody. That is remarkable thing for a girl to survive in this Industry without a Godfather.
2. Most of the actresses who fail in first films tend to start cloths-shedding & try to gain an sex-bomb image in bid to get fame (For e.g. Neha Dhupia) But Ayesha has two film flops but has managed to give a third super hit without any cloth- shedding.
Her first music video was Falguni Pathaks Meri Chunar when She was 15. I had first seen her in the remix album-Shake it Daddy, the drunken girl stuck in elevator, but I didn?t like her much at that time (I absolutely hate remix videos). Her first break came with the movie ?Taarzan-the wonder car?, there wasn?t much to act for in the film but it brought her into the people?s notice.
Her Second film ?Dil maange more? was a love triangle with two more heroines in which Ayesha played the role of Shagun (a girl who hates men but falls in love with Shahid kapoor), with Soha Ali Khan & Tulip Joshi. This was a stiff competition & Ayesha did well in the movie, I think she looked good between all the three. Unfortunately the film didn?t do so well on the box office. Any heroine might have been disappointed, but not Ayesha.
Ayesha came out Shining with her third film ?Socha na tha? with debut opposite Sunny Deols cousin Abhay Deol. This is a great movie where Ayesha has shown that she can act well if given good roles. Ayesha plays the role of a simple girl who yearns to be mischievous & daring.
There a long way for Ayesha to go, but she seems to have a bright future. There may be problems & difficulties in the way but this gal is here to stay.
