Ayur Herbal Shampoo Just Sharing My Honest Thoughts
So heres the deal I didnt plan to buy Ayur Herbal Shampoo. I literally picked it up while buying groceries because my regular shampoo was out of stock. It was cheap, had herbal written on it, and Ive seen it around since I was a kid. I thought, "Why not? Lets see what this old-school bottle can do."
Price-wise? An absolute win.
Its one of those shampoos that make you go, Wait, its only this much for this big bottle? Especially when everything else is ₹;300+. I honestly wasnt expecting much. But to my surprise, it did a decent job cleaned my scalp really well, and it didnt have that strong artificial smell you get in many fancy products. It smelled like something your grandma would approve of neem-y, herbal, fresh.
But let me be honest you NEED a conditioner afterward.
I made the mistake of skipping it once and my hair was like, Nope. It felt dry and a bit rough, especially towards the ends. So if you already have dry or frizzy hair, this shampoo alone might not be enough.
Also, the bottle? Super basic.
It looks like something out of the 90s. No frills, no luxury vibes. The texture of the shampoo is quite runny too you have to pour carefully or youll end up with half the bottle in your hand 😅.
But honestly? Thats kind of the charm.
Its like that one local product that doesnt make big promises but still kinda does the job. Its not going to give you super silky, salon-finish hair. But its also not going to cost you a fortune. If you oil your hair regularly or just need something to keep your scalp clean, it works.
Will I buy it again?
Maybe as a backup or for summer months when Im not too fussy.
Would I rely on it fully? Probably not it needs help(read: conditioner).
But hey, for the price, it does what it says, and thats more than I can say for some expensive ones out there.
