Emraan Hashmi has a thing with girls and then also with cricket. This is his third film with cricket as the backdrop. And this time he plays the controversy king Azharuddin, former captain of Indian Team.
BAD Idea!
Emraan and Azharuddin(those who have witnessed and followed both men closely) are different and in no way Emraan suits in the role of Azhar. Other actors(read- Azhars’ wives) also seem like spicy mistresses rather than adding real life colors to the movie. The story goes haywire. Those alike of me who went to watch a cricket centric movie were hugely disappointed.
The songs were dull, specially the peppy redoing of Oye Oye is a bit overdone.
I would say, the movie would have worked and made more sense if the cast, the director were someone else.
