Azhar was among one of the most awaited movie of the year 2016. For me at least(Being an Emraan Hashmi Fan) And somewhere it was worth the wait.
This time Emraan was doing a film which was completely of an different genre yet same somewhere as he’s known for playing characters with negative shades and Azhar was exactly of his kinda role yet the genre made it different, being a biopic. Here, too he gives an EXCELLENT performance as needed.So, keeping it short i’ll sum up the things here. The Film looks good on screen(as expected) and is well executed.
The Screenplay is fine. Music as usual(for A Hashmi’s film) is excellent. The Background Score is also very good. Dialogues are Spot on and are delivered with ease by each character, especially By Emraan which he manages to do in all of his films.Emraan just nailed it and other actors did their best too but Narghis Fakhri wasn’t that good with her part.Supporting crew are brilliant. Prachi has also done a good job and she looks cute all the time.The best part is it’s last 20-30 minutes which is the complete powerhouse of the film. Finally, i’d say go for it once without thinking it won’t disappoint you as such but also don’t expect a masterpiece.
