Today I went to Baaghi 2 with my Gf and this iteration of Baaghi franchise is better than the previous one and its good family movie entertainment where you can take your family also, that’s hard to find now a days.
The plot is set around a charismatic Rambo type army officer, who fears no one and he is edified as one man army. This ex girlfriend calls him after 4 years of their breakup and ask for his help to find the whereabouts of her kidnapped daughter. This leads to clash with international criminal, drug addicts, Goa police and drug cartels.
Performance by Tiger is good, I will say he is improving day by day, other prominent actors present such as Manoj Vajpai as DIG Shergil, Randeep Hooda as ACP LSD who dress like a hobo and Disha Patani as Neha who’s daughter was kidnapped. Everyone does their job pretty well and there is no question on Manoj Vajpai’s and Randeep Hooda’s acting but Disha Patani’s acting was loud, it’s good that her role is short in the movie. Tiger has performed the emotional part very well and there are definitely amazing dancing and action scenes.
Music was OK OK type, none of the songs were something that will stay in the memories of the mass and the item number performed by
Jacqueline Fernandez was below average.
Cinematography was very good, people were comparing this movie with Hollywood movie Rambo, it’s not equivalent to that but it is in itself a good portray of sequence of events. The Thrilling story of the movie will keep you attached to your popcorn tub. The fast half of the movie builds up the story and the 2nd half continues with action packed scenes, according to me that’s a perfect combination.
