Here is a movie which has tried hard to establish Tiger Shrof as a king of action and in doing so has produced a mindless movie, Baagi Tiger Shrof’s second movie will do more harm then benefit to his career. It is surprising that he or his pop Jackie Shrof did not give a second thought before doing such a mindless movie.
First, there is hardly any script to talk about we have Rony(Tiger)in his early twenties out to fulfill his fathers last wish to have an aim to live, next scene we have him in a martial art institute teaching ancient martial art kalaripayattu in Kerala resembling a 7 star resort. The only plus point of the movie is great scenic locals of Kerala & Bangkok . Nobody will make money from this disastrous movie and only to benefit from this is Kerala & Bangkok Tourism.
Coming back to the story we have our hero Rony(Tiger)while travelling to martial art institute meets his love Sia(Shradha Kapoor) in a train and after initial quarrel fall for each other, again a usual plot used n number of times, our third character is villain Raghav(Sudhir Babu) a Bangkok gangster who kidnaps Sia as he is madly in love with her, though our heroine is not, what follows is endless action & it feels like we are watching a fighting video game as the scenes are repetitive. Bollywood producers will never learn to copy a south Indian movie or it can be said they never want to learn as we have a cocktail of number of movies like Karate kid & many others.
One thing which this movie proves is that Tiger Shroff has worked hard in action sequences & in is utter failure while doing romantic & emotional scenes, the heroine is ok & south Indian actor Sudhir Babu has also performed quite well. In all, this movie has very little to offer like the beautiful locals of Kerala & Bangkok, a rainy song. It is a movie for action buffs and India is still not ready for such mindless action.
Conclusion: An avoidable movie- wastage of time money & energy.
