I still remember the day I watched Baahubali: The Beginning in theatre. It was like a festival. The visuals, the music, the atmosphere – everything was just mind blowing. Rajamouli sir really created magic with this film. I can say proudly this is one of the best movies ever made in India.
Prabhas as Baahubali was simply powerful. His screen presence, action scenes, and expressions were all perfect. When he climbs the waterfall and reaches the top – aa scene lo goosebumps vachhayi. Tamanna also looked beautiful and did well in her role. Their chemistry was good and the songs were well placed.
The biggest plus of Baahubali is its visuals. Every frame looked like a painting. Whether it’s the kingdom of Mahishmati or the war scenes, cinematography was just wow. Keeravani’s background music gave extra strength to the film. Songs like “Dhivara” and “Mamathala Thalli” are still in my playlist.
The story is also very engaging. Rajamouli managed to mix emotion, drama, action, and fantasy perfectly. There is no single boring moment. Interval lo when Kattappa says "Baahubali, " the whole theatre shouted. That moment is unforgettable.
Also, the characters were very strong. Kattappa, Sivagami, Bhallaladeva – each one had depth. Sathyaraj gaaru as Kattappa did an amazing job. His loyalty and emotions made us cry. Ramya Krishna as Sivagami was bold and powerful, her expressions spoke more than her dialogues.
Production values were top class. I felt like I’m watching a Hollywood-level movie. They spent so much money but it was worth every rupee. Movie chusthune I felt proud that an Indian film reached this level.
Of course, few scenes felt bit slow but they are needed for story building. I didnt even feel like checking phone in between, that much gripping it was. Ending lo, when Kattappa stabs Baahubali – I was shocked! Full theatre lo silence aipoindi.
Baahubali is not just a film, it’s an experience. If anyone still didn’t watch it, please don’t miss. This is cinema at its best.
