Every year, a few film productions make a few low budget movies, which are not ambitious and they are happy even if a small portion of profit is made on those. Baankey ki crazy baraat is one such movie. It doesn’t have a premier star cast, the story is average and the delivery is below average.
Too bad I didn’t wait for it to be telecast on Television and went to catch a late night show.
Raajpal Yadav plays the central character- Baankey, in this film and is supported by other star cast such as Sanjay Mishra, Tipa Bajpai and Vijay Raaz- all known well for their comic timings. But even veterans fail badly in delivering laughter when the script is swallow or the director(maybe) is not a genius.
The humour in this movie is not at all refreshing and I would do far better with Hera Pheri or Dhamaal any day. Watch it if you want to waste your money.
