Shammi Kapoor and Mohd Rafi at their best. The dancing style of Shammi Kapoor
was mesmerizing. Mohd Rafi had adopted a particular style for singing Sahmmi Kapoor
songs. In fact, Shammi ji used to sit in the song recording sessions with Mohd Rafi
to ensure that his "Yahoo" style was reflected in the song. All such songs have been
enacted to perfection by Shammi ji on screen. His carefree style of dancing to
impress the heroines was a trend-setter. Most of the songs by this duo are
all time classics. Of course the music by Laxmikant Pyarelal or Shankar Jaikishan
and the lyricists have to be given due credits. But I have a feeling that the picturisation
and rendering of the song are of slightly more importance to the audience. The
