Govind Menon , the great director behind milestone movies like DANGER [for audience ] , KHWAISH [unfulfilled] and KIS KIS KI SARDARD ....KISMAT is back with his latest film BACH KE REHNA RE BABA which is his worst film till date.This film yet again proves the fact that he is one of the worst director that India has produced .
BACH KE REHNA RE BABA is meant to be an entertainer with emphasis on comedy, but, unfortunately, the film does little to tickle your funny bone. It does boast of a vulgar , bizarre and cliché-ridden plot, like MASTI and KYA KOOL HAIN HUM, but BACH KE REHNA RE BABA just doesn’t have the meat to keep you glued to the goings-on. The jokes fall flat most of the times and what we get to see is vulgar jokes , naked women , kisses for no reasons!
In fact, the story moves on aimlessly and one often wonders what the director is trying to say or convey through the film.And the presence of irritating MALLIKA SHERAWAT further complicates the matter .
It tells the story of an aunt and a niece (Rekha and Mallika) —who trick rich men into falling in love with them and seducing them off their money. Their plan is simple — one of them cons a man to get married to her while the other seduce him after the marriage. A divorce follows and the two run away with the settlement money — the plot is a poor remake of David Mirkin’s HEARTBREAKERS, and unfortunately, a film that’s been copied completely is not 1% as entertaining as original .
Rekha is simply terrible in her role .What made her to sign this film is a big mystery . Also her make up and costumes spell a disaster .Plz retire Rekha , your days are over . Even 40 year women can look sexy when she is nude so there is nothing much to say about Mallika .This girl is truely defaming Indian movies . Paresh Rawal tries too hard to be funny but fails badly.Is this the same actor of superhits like HERA PHERI , HUNGAMA , HULCHUL .Satish Shah’s acting can be ranked as worst .
And two words for Karan Khanna-quit acting!
