Vishal Shekhar has once again hit the bulls eye with their latest composition for Bachna Ae Haseeno. As much awaited this movie is, the music is looking quite promising till now. All the songs are peppy, naughty and pure Vishal Shekhar style. Here is my song by song review of the album:
Khuda Jaane: This is the best song of this album according to me. Beautifully sung by Krishan Kumar Menon(KK) supported by Shilpa Rao. Again some new singers making a mark on Bollywood Music industry.
Lucky Boy: Apty suited to be picturises on Bips in the movie, this song has some cool music sequences make you do a little jig. Sung none other than most talented Sunidhi Chauhan. Hard Kaur has also given her punjabi rap in between.
Aahista Aahista: This is second best song according to me. Listening to Lucky Ali after quite long time and as always the guy simply rocks. Very cool song which is perfect for long drives.
Jogi Mahi: This is the first punjabi number of the album and by the sound of it looks like a song picturised in a wedding. It has very foot thumping dhol beats accompanying Sukhwinder Singh voice. Not a bad song.
Smalltown Girl: This song, on listening at first time, will seem like a stupid one. But the music is quite catchy and the lyrics quite humorous. You will begin to like it after listening 2-3 times.
Khuda Jaane(Remix): This remix is also quite good but not better than the original. You might want to skip this song.
Bachna Ae Haseeno: This song takes you back to Kishore Da era when his voice comes in between. Mostly sung by Vishal himself, the lyrics are quite good. But I would have preferred if there was more Kishore Kumar in it.
Overall, an album worth a buy. Good music always raise some high expectations from the movie. I hope the movie meets that.
