Just went through the review of arjun pethambaram. Quite painful to lose so much of money. I happen to be the victim of a similar experience. I bought a grinder from a direct marketing chap a couple of months ago. He gave tall claims about his product and I just got carried away.
This guy being an aggressive sales person persuaded me to buy his product at an attractive rate and I just fell for the trap. Just two months is over and the grinder is now just a show piece. This is what most of us do. Just get carried away by the assurances of clever but unethical sales men.
I am basically a native of chennai with a wide network of friends and acquaintances. But I have never heard about this bactino. When you invest a few thousands, it is always better to go for a reputed brand or at least check the background of the company pakka before taking a decision.
We all need to remember that unlike my grinder case, water purifier is a far more serious purchase and we need to apply our wisdom before buying one. Of course, time is a constraint and that’s why I chose an unbranded grinder. But then we need to be ready for the consequences if we are going to cite time as a reason for not doing a proper check.
Nothing wrong in spending little time when we make serious purchases.
Both our experiences can well be an eye opener to many our mouthshut members.
