BAILEY’S IRISH CREAM has 34 proof of alcohol and is a sweet liquor. Because of this it definitely can pack a punch if you drink too much. Baileys’ can be an added to much strong liquor.
The smell reminds me of the chocolate malt flavored Instant Breakfast, (that Carnation makes), with a hint of fruit caramel vanilla and whiskey.
MY EASY RECIPES:
1) Bailey’s Irish Cream over ice.
2) Bailey’s Irish Cream over ice cream for a great dessert.
3) Bailey’s Irish Cream and coffee makes a delicious Irish Coffee
THE HARDER RECIPES:
You must layer these drinks. If you do not know how to layer you use a small liquor glass and pour the thickest liquor first then tilt the glass and then use a spoon to add the next layer. You do this until the glass is filled to the top.
1) 1 oz. of Baileys Irish Cream with a 1/2 oz of Jack Daniel make as drink called ’Jack Off’.
2) 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream and a 1/2 oz of Sambucca makes a drink called a ’Slippery Nipple’.
3) 1/2 oz of Bailey’s Irish Cream with 1 oz. of Canadian Crown Royal Whiskey and 1 oz. of Coffee Liquor makes a drink called ’Swamp Water’.
4) Equal amounts of Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlua and Vodka is a ’Hard Nipple’.
5) 1/2 shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream and 1/2 a shot Butterscotch Schnapps makes a ’Buttery Nipple. (This is the only drink you put the Butterscotch Schnapps first).
SOME FINAL THOUGHTS:
Any cream liquor must be put into your refrigerator once you open it.
