Recently purchased pre owned car Ford Figo. Wanted to go for car insurance from Bajaj bcz they are identified partner with Ford. Approached them on 10th march 2015 and requested for policy and they assured me that person will be visiting on 11th march 5pm.
As I’s scheduled to travel on 12th march 2015(by car), explained my urgency and requested them to give high priority.
I’ve waited for him on 11th march from 5pm to 8 pm in the office then he informed me, he can’t evaluate the vehicle in the night.
If this is informed earlier would have saved lot of time.
I am scheduled to travel on 12th march 2015. When I requested again the evaluator visited home in morning 8am 12/Mar/2015. They communicated me that payment through credit card will happen over the phone by 11am but till 2:30 pm didn’t happen and no proper response from Bajaj executives. All they say sorry sir will do it ASAP.
Now my trip got cancelled bcz of no insurance and now they are communicating that it will take time in backend for approval and then payment. If they have informed me this earlier would have gone to future genrali insurance where they were ready to issue the policy with in 6hrs after the evaluation.
Bajaj time line
For evaluation visit they will take their own time(bcz only 3 to 5 evaluators available for complete Bangalore)
After evaluation uploading data to their system depends on person to person
Once data uploaded back end team will approve in 48hrs
after approval in 24hrs(for credit card payment) will receive call
after payment 24hrs for receipt / cover note
48hrs from the payment you might receive the Policy
This is the actual time line of BAJAJ ALLIANZ AUTO ISURENCE.
If you guys are in hurry then I suggest re think before going to Bajaj insurance.
I’m not sure how the claim and all, bcz this is my first engagement with Bajaj and will make sure this will be the last engagement with Bajaj also I will make double sure that all my friends and family won’t make the mistake what I have did.
