I want to give 0 Stars but 1 is the minumum

I am editing my review here. I was frustrated as mentioned below. But somehow, there was a turn around and Bajaj Allianz has come back to me with a better settlement amount. They have gone a long way from my initial interaction. Everything seems to have got better with time now.


I am not removing my previous review. But happy that things are far better now!

The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have been their customer for more than 5 years now and I have also referred many of my friends. But when it comes to settlement they have been the most rude people I have ever seen. My car had totally drowned in the Chennai foods and the TATA dealer had given a proper estimate towards the insurance claim. They are supposed to total the vehicle as the cost of the repair is more than the IDV value on the policy. But the amount for settlement seems to be arrived at without any logic. They are spinning all kinds of reasons not to spend money towards my claim. Very rude people on earth. Most unprofessional. Why are they calculating premium on the IDV value that is there in the policy when the correct thing would be to calculate it based on the claim amount that they can dispense if the case is for a total loss? They are totally cheating their customers. Very bad experience.
