Fraud Company...Did not return a Single Penny

My Grandfather had a policy Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance in the name of my daughter. He was supposed to pay premium of Rs.99000 per year for 3 consecutive years. He paid 2 premiums and was unable to pay the 3rd one due to financial problem. Due to this the policy was terminated. It has been more than 5 years, he is 85 years old and has lost the policy document. I emailed Bajaj customer care on his behalf asking for the refund of basic sum after deductions. To my surprise they clearly refused saying as per the policy clause If you fail to pay the premium and policy is terminated, you are not eligible for refund. To this I relied saying I have lost my policy document and asked them to send me a duplicate copy or mail me written reply of above refund status on their letter head duly signed and stamped. But they refused to do so saying as per rule if policy is terminated we cannot provide duplicate documents.I was very shocked and contacted the agent who issued the policy. I asked him did you ever mention at the time of issue that if I fail to pay premium, I am not eligible for refund? He said NO. And asked me to wait for some days till he finds the solution. But now its been 2 months but he has not found a solution. My Grandfather had paid premiums from his pension. It was his hard earned income. How can the company steal his money. Therefore I am about to file a case in Consumer court. If anyone of you reading this review know someone who has been harassed by the company in this way, kindly tell him/her to contact me. I want support in my legal battle so tht no other company will again think of looting us in future.
