Finalyyy got my aveee 220 blue...

This is my first review here and that too of my first bike so there would be some suggestions I would be requiring from the exp bikers.

I got my Ave 220 blue color on 21 march 2011 from sai service mumbai @ 81, 919...

That day was like living a dream as this is my first bike and that too avenger I was super excited.

To be frank I didnt knew how to ride a bike to the fullest so was a bit worried whether I would be able to handle this MONSTER , but this was the bike I had an eye from the early ELIMINATOR days so I went this one.

Now I am pretty comfortable guiding this beauty wherever I want on the busy roads of MUMBAI.

So for all the beginners who want an ultimate biking experience and love the AVE then should definitely go for this bike.

FINDINGS:-

After completing 300KMS....

1- The driver seating is best for a truely cruising drive.

2- The pilion is not to bad ya a bit narrow but the back rest compensates for it.

3- pick up is truely a thing to notice.

you would be surprise to see the bike race away after hitting the throttle.

4- Gear changing as everyone mentioned is an issue, initially the gears are stiff to toggle.

But I guess after first service this should be better.

5- A weired smeel would be emitted when you drive.

6- Vibrations for the pillion when you accelerate.

7- Front dics brake great and the rear drum are little lazy but the combination of both does wonders.

I would like some suggestions from you guys:-

1- What would be the reason for vibrations in the pillion seat??

2- Is it true that the mileage would increase after 1st service??

As of now I am getting between 30 - 33 KM/L..

3- Some tips from the experience reider regarding maintaining the bike for better average.

This was my till date exp with my blue baby, couldnot give a great technical review as me unaware of that aspect,

so really looking forward to your comments and tips....

have a happy and safe ride...

HAPPY CRUISING..

After First Service:-1300Km

1- Gear shifting is much better now.

2- BIke has become very smooth and easy to handle.

3- As of now getting an average of 35-40 between city traffic quiet exceptable as per the bike stats.

Driving it still within the speed limit of 40-60 for better performance and less wear and tear later.

Pretty happy with my AVE feeling like god everytime I take it on the streets...
