*Avenger Street 220** is the first motorbike I ever own. I had a budget of 1.2Lac INR and wanted a cruiser for daily commute to my workplace and long road trips. I could have gone for a stretch of 1.5Lac or so to buy a RE but that has become too mainstream, I wanted to try something new and less main stream and then the **Ravishing matte black Avenger Street 220 Feel Like God** made an entry in the market with one of the best advertisement videos ever.
So here is the summary of my till date experience my Avy:-
*Wows**:-
It gives good comfort and feel for daily commute and long trip.
The matte black color is really elegant and makes everyone stare at you on the road, which really makes you feel up
The handling is better as compared to other avenger models as it is basically targeted for daily commute and street handlings. So, the well know Skid problem with avengers is no longer an issue.
If you maintain it like your girlfriend then it gives a mileage of 40 to 45 Kmpl otherwise somewhere around 30 to 35Kmpl. Maintenance includes factors like Economy speed, good quality petrol like Shell, BP etc, Chain cleaning and lubrication after every 500 to 700Kms etc.
It’s a treat for the Pillions as well.
You get to join clubs like **Bajaj Avenger Club**(BAC) for numerous wonderful, goose bumping and mood uplifting road trips.
*Ouchs**:-
As it is matte black themed so even a titsy bitsy scratch gives a pain to your heart. So you gotta be aware always.
You may need to modify the seat as per your comfort for your long rides as it’s bit narrow.
The matte black color costs more than other colors.
Vibrates on a speed above 70Kmpl.
Always keep the spare tubes as it is tough to find them in market especially the MRF ones. This is the only thing which literally pisses me off.
*Should you buy it?*
If you have enough budget and can bear a maintenance cost of around 4, 500 Rs/year then obviously yes.
If you are looking for more powerful or more mileage(above 45kmpl) vehicle then you should go for some other street or cruise vehicles.
I would rate this vehicle(at this price range) 3.5/5. ***Happy Riding**
