Bajaj Avenger 220 Street is one of the newest members of Bajaj Bike family. This new edition was introduced in 2016. Before it was introduced, Bajaj Avenger was already a cruiser bike, mostly known for its unique style and performance.
I am not going in details about specifications and features of this bike, as you can get these informations from any trusted site. I have been riding this bike since it was launched by Bajaj. Initially I was going to buy old Avenger model but Bajaj re-introduced Avenger in a whole new way. Bajaj Avenger Cruise and Bajaj Avenger Street. A mere difference in weight and a notable height difference in handle and matt black finishing made the difference between these two models.
Avenger Street 220 is a powerful yet elegant bike from Bajaj. Matt black finishing gives it an attractive look which will surely help to get an eye catching appearance.
Avenger 220 street is surely made for those riders who loves a cruiser bike though has to travel a lot in the city. As city street gets much more crowd and traffic, Street 220 is perfect for those people who wants to have a taste to cruse bike riding in the city. Handle height has been lowered for this sole reason I think which is very much justifiable and well executed. Initially you may have problems riding this bike but with time, when you will get accustomed with this bike, you can feel like God, as Bajaj says itself.
Jokes apart, Avenger 220 street has a very powerful engine with modified features as old avengers did not have. Everything about this bike is very much impressive and delivers it’s best to the rider. You can feel the relaxation and comfort while riding this bike. Fuel consumption is bit high though it is not a big issue. After a year you will get almost the exact fuel consumption as Bajaj promised to give it’s customers.
Pillion rider back rest is not present for this model which is a disadvantage for Avengers lover. But it is for the look of this model as handle hight is bit low so pillion rider back rest does not fit well. Though you can always attach one if you need so it is not a worry at all. Gear shifting, brake system, milage, everything is very much impressive.
The best part about this bike is you can easily manage the crowded road and empty long distance road as well with very much ease and comfort while riding this bike.
