ONE MORE Update -
I recently took my bike from Delhi to Ranikhet (380 Km including some 80 km hill route).
Thought initially I was scared to take a 5 years old bike (reading 40, 000 Km) on a long trip but then finally I made my mind. With 2 riders on board, the bike didnt complain ever .... not even on the hilly inclines. Slowly and steadily the bike took us safely and back with an average mileage of 60 km/liters and an average speed of 60 Km/hr.
Nice bike at its age... I should say.
An update to my old review:
LAST WEEK.... I got a new clutch plate, timing-chain and tensioner assembly for my discover. And believe me, I was really SHOCKED (happily).
After this service, I cant anymore say that its an old bike....ALL THE SOUNDS AND NOISES that were there in the original NEW bike are gone with this service...... And this proves my point that there was definitely some problem in the new bikes timing-chain settings that was causing the noise.....
Am happy with it now that its giving me 60 kmpl as against the 50 kmpl that it used to deliver earlier..
