All Bajaj Products Sucks my dear friends! Trust me. It’s my own experience of three bajaj bikes., CT100 perfect bike, I have right now with me. Platina 100CC, only the first 500-1000 pcs was perfect I owned one of that and by mistake sell that(Stupid me). Now Discover DTS-si really sucks.
It never goes above 60. If I pushed it to cross 60 it takes 2 bloody minutes to cross even 65 and engine gives a sound that anyone can die with. The Engine’s Piston and head kit is ruined within 8 months just after purchase. Bajaj service guy never told me that they found the engine oil very low at the time of service and now I have to bare the cost.
’’DTS-SI Engine’’ a very bad product from bajaj. It fails XCD-125, It fails XCD-135, It fails the legend Platina, now its Discover’s turn to ruin it’s name with this engine. Bajaj should trash all these engine left in their factory and work on a new thing(ENGINE) to make success or else BAJAJ is finished cause of this DTS-si.
So, never go for bajaj.
