Would recommend this bike if you want lighter yet better engineered motor bikes from Bajaj. I bought this bike in 2007 Dec, when discoverer was upgraded to 135cc from 125 cc. Preferred this over pulsar as am not a hefty personality. It has got sporty look in the range of bikes less than 150 cc(ofcourse XCD can beat it but that looks delicate or vulnerable to fall). Have gone for long distance(~60km) ride with hefty dudes on pillion and felt comfortable. The tubeless tyres & DTSi engine are added advantage.
But am little sceptical about battery life as the automatic start sometimes doesn’t work and headlamps/horn are under performing after an year. Also was expecting a better mileage than what I get now around 48kmpl;
with this respect 125cc discoverer(my roomie had) was doing good job giving around 60kmpl.
